Evergreen ran 200 pitches across two parks on a legacy DOS-era reservation tool and a clipboard system for electric meter reads.

We shipped a campground operations platform on Odoo with a tablet-friendly site map, IoT meter pollers, and a guest mobile portal.

• Hookup-aware site map: The booking engine refuses to place a 50-amp rig on a 30-amp pedestal; pull-through length is validated against coach length on reservation.
• IoT smart-meter polling: Modbus and LoRaWAN devices on pedestals and water hookups report nightly; readings post to the guest tab automatically.
• SMS gate codes: Reservation auto-issues a rotating gate PIN at sundown on arrival day; the keypad logs every entry.
• Ranger work-order app: Staff and guests log maintenance tickets with photos; tickets route to the on-duty ranger with priority tags.
• Camp-store charge-to-pitch: A stripped-down POS at the store lets cashiers ring sales to the camper's tab by site number.
• Seasonal-site billing: Long-stay monthlies, propane buy-down credits, and storage fees handled by a recurring-invoice scheduler.

Two seasons after rollout the parks were running with one less office staffer and measurably happier campers.

• Pedestal-trip incidents fell from 18 per season to zero thanks to hookup-aware site allocation.
• Meter-billing labour dropped from 12 hours per week to under 30 minutes of exception review.
• Average late-arrival wait at the gate fell from 22 minutes to under 60 seconds with SMS PINs.
• Maintenance ticket resolution improved from 3.2 days to 9 hours on the priority queue.
